About the Role Harvest Hospitality is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead the kitchen team at the Crown Inn, Old Reynella . As Head Chef, you will oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional food quality, compliance with food safety standards, and efficient workflow. You will play a key role in maintaining the venue’s reputation for simplicity, great service, and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Scope of Responsibilities Lead and mentor the kitchen team, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Develop and execute seasonal menus that reflect current trends and customer preferences. Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies. Manage kitchen financial performance, including cost control, stock management, and waste reduction. Collaborate with senior management and FOH teams to deliver an exceptional guest experience. Drive innovation while balancing operational efficiency and profitability. Skills and Experience To be considered for this role, you will need: Minimum 3 years’ experience in a senior chef or head chef position. Strong leadership and team management skills. Comprehensive knowledge of modern culinary techniques and industry trends. Proven ability to manage budgets, food costs, and kitchen KPIs. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
